This regatta is dedicated to a past captain, Jeff Simon, who passed away from cancer in 2007, soon after his graduation. We were lucky to have a great day for wind, picking up to around 8-10 knots by the afternoon. The super blue bloodmoon caused some extreme tides for Mission Bay, and some interesting currents throughout the day. We got in 6 races in both divisions!
Sunday started out in postponement, but luckily it didn't last long, as the wind filled in to about 5-7 knots. We were able to get in 4 races per division. Throughout the weekend, a raffle was held, and we raised over $500 for a local San Diego charity, the Autism Tree Project Foundation. We would like to congratulate USC for their impressive 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th in this 34 boat fleet!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
