Racing got started around 10:00 in a fresh 8-12 knot northerly breeze. Three-race sets were run to minimize rotations and maximize racing time. The first two races of each set were W4 with the final races being W3s and W5s to shorten rotation distance. Due to a bleak Sunday forecast, racing continued until 5:30 which enabled a total of 9 races to be completed in each division. Many thanks to the Fordham sailors for pushing through the long day and keeping races running smoothly throughout. One big collision led to significant damage to one of our new Zim 420Es. It's important to respect the equipment of the host school when you travel to events as they put their time and resources on the line to run events for you...
Despite no wind at nearby venues, a little thermal in Eastchester Bay enabled racing to begin around 10:00. Lots of wind shifts meant tough work for the race committee but three A division races were completed. Unfortunately, after B division was sent out on the water for their fourth set, the breeze completely shut off. A few trickling thermals enabled a number of attempts at races throughout the afternoon. Ultimately, only one B race was able to be completed which means the final two A division races couldn't be matched and were deleted. Many thanks to Alec Tayler '17 and Anders Ekholm '17 for their support running the regatta this weekend. Also a big thanks to Matt Alfano '21 and Eamonn Austin '19 for running the RC boat all weekend and to all the Fordham and Columbia sailors for their help on land. Congrats to the Fordham Rams for winning at home!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
