The day started with lots of sun and a dying northerly. The teams towed to the race area and attempted a race without success, then towed back for an early lunch break as the seabreeze got organized. 8 races were sailed in the afternoon in a building SW breeze reaching the upper teens. Two boats suffered major damage in collisions where sailors made little or no attempt to avoid a collision. Many thanks to PRO Paul Nannig, coach Matt Coughlin, and a host of undergrads who kept things moving. URI entered 5 teams and owned the top five spots at the end of the day.
The teams arrived to a blustery WSW breeze in the upper teens. Two races were sailed with multiple capsizes in race 10. Racing was called for the day due to safety and fleet preservation concerns. Thanks to PRO Matt Coughlin and Karel Mailloux-Kuz for managing the racing with assists from multiple team members.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
