The BC Team Race got off to a late start to account for the frigid temps and forecasted breeze. A shifty South-Easterly and Intermittent Squalls caused for a few wind delays before the sun finally came out around 3:30. We were able to get 24 races in before the wind finally gave out around 4:30.
Sailors showed up to a brisk 20+ Easterly and more frigid temps. The breeze had just enough Northerly to it that they race management team was able to tuck the race course in the wind shadow of UMASS Boston with enough water during low tide to PERFECTLY fit a digital N. The shifty conditions allowed for some great team races that were never over. The BC Eagles showed their home court advantage and narrowly snuck out the win over the Harvard Crimson after 3 complete RRs. Congrats to all sailors and Thank you to our excellent race management team of Chris Dwyer 15', Will Bailey 15', Allison Ferraris 17, and the BC sailors for a great regatta.
