The Southern Series 7 at URI was met with a southwest breeze with a range of 50 degrees throughout the day, starting around 7 knots and building to 15 knots. Sunny skies and flat water greeted the competitors as temperatures approached 70 degrees Fahrenheit. A combined division sailed 10 races in URI's whitecap FJ's, from 1130 - 1630 just south of Gardiner's Island and Camp Fuller. All courses were W4's. One protest was filed with a resulting DSQ.
