Six races were completed in both divisions in front of the historic USS Yorktown. 8-12 knot southeasterly filled with close racing in the Cooper River. Two protests were filed and will be heard in the morning.
A fresh southeasterly filled at 12:30 allowing for the completion of the remaining five races. The team of Cougar undergrads ran W3s, W4s, and W5s in a waning ebb tide. Racing was tight amongst the fifth and sixth teams vying for the last berth to Coed Semifinals. University of Miami won the last race to secure the spot.
Thanks to Kevin Reali and Alan Capellin for hearing protests. Zero breakdowns occurred thanks to Ned Goss (c/o '02). Congratulations to the College of Charleston on the victory. Congrats also to University of South Florida, Eckerd College, Jacksonville University, and University of Miami for advancing to the big dance. We look forward to hosting you all in May. http://2017nationals.collegesailing.org

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
