Six schools competed in the NWICSA Co-Ed Championships at Sail Sand Point. Conditions were generally light and shifty, especially for the earlier and later races of the day. The breeze was very unsettled and spent the day oscillating between SE and SW which kept the race committee busy. During the middle set the breeze built to 6-10 kts and settled in nicely. However that didn't last long, and by the final set we were just above our minimum wind limit with frequent 40+ degree oscillations. It was a day that rewarded those sailors who kept their head out of the boat, and kept their bow going up rather than across the course.
No protests were filed, although one boat was scored DNF on account of not leaving the leeward mark to port. Big kudos to UW and UBC on their team's performance, and best of luck to them at National Semi-Finals. Thanks to UW and Sail Sand Point for organizing and hosting the event. Additional thanks to alumni volunteers who helped run races: Haley Lane (UW '11), Kris Thompson (UW '16), Brian Hickman (OSU '15), Andrew Nelson PRO (WWU '10).

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
