Spectacular racing in Newport! Northwesterly breeze 15-20 with some higher gusts and some lower lulls. Quite a few capsizes occurred but no one required assistance.
Sunday started off a little slow with a west/north westerly that died out requiring the abandonment of the first race. After a 30 minute postponement on the water, a south/south westerly filled in at around 10 knots but rapidly built to 15-18. Many thanks to Shannon Killian '16 for scoring and managing the dockside rotations and protests. One protest was filed and heard resulting in a DSQ. Congratulations to the top three finishers: Salve Regina University, Middlebury College, and Johnson and Whales University!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
