University of RI, Sacred Heart University, and Boston University joined the Coast Guard Offshore Squads for the first Tuesday J70 Invite of the spring season.
Wind WSW 8-12kts with 10-20 degree oscillations that increased in frequency near the top of the course. Current was minimal and temps were a refreshing 50F under sunny skies. Five races were completed with an average duration of 15 minutes. Racecourses were W4's and W3's set close Jacob's Rock between the 1A and EP buoys.
