Sailors arrived at Morris Yacht & Beach Club to no breeze on the racecourse. After numerous delays on shore, A division hit the water just after 12:00. Two races were completed in a dying breeze that ultimately became too light to start a 3rd race. Racing was postponed on shore until 3:00 at which point it became clear that the breeze would not fill and sailors were sent home for the night.
Teams arrived Sunday morning to a dying southerly. A division was sent out right away to complete the 3rd race of their set before a quick rotation. B was able to complete 2 races in 3-6 knots before the breeze completely shut off. After a long delay on the water, B was able to squeeze in a final race in a localized southerly. Racing was called for the day at 1:30. Many thanks to JJ Monro '16 for serving as regatta chair/PRO and managing to complete a regatta in some very difficult conditions. Also thanks to Nina Synnestvedt '14 and Elaina Mansley '16 for returning to help run the event, Thomas Capozzi '19, Eamonn Austin '19, and Jacqueline Tobin '20 for running the RC boat all weekend and to the rest of the Fordham and Columbia sailors who helped on shore. Congratulations to the Fordham Rams for winning the 2017 Greater New York Dinghy Regatta.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
