What started as a typical morning on the Chester whipped quickly up to a steady 9-12kt out of the East. Using a rotation between round robin format, we took a lunch break after the first round robin. Having eaten and rotated, the racing continued. 35 races were completed by 5:00 PM. The Hoyas led the day with a score of 11-2.
Thanks to the small but dedicated team of race officers provided by Washington College Sailing for pulling off a well managed regatta.
Sunday started off much as it ended. The wind was a solid breeze out of the North East. It was straight down the river at about 9-14kts. 25 races were completed, bring the regatta to 4 Round Robins and 60 races scored. Congratulations to the Georgetown Hoyas (17-3) for winning the Washington College Team Race!
A big thank thank you to the small but dedicated team of race officers provided by Washington College Sailing for pulling off a well managed regatta.
