The women of the PCCSC showed up to a bright and sunny morning with temps cruising into the 80's and an outstanding forecast. And while it took a while to pick up, the breeze eventually started to filter out of the southwest at about 11am and continued to increase as the day went on getting puffs up to 18 and lulls at 10 knots and moving to the west. It was a perfect day for the sailors and 10 A race and 10 B races were completed in glorious conditions. There were no protests filed. Thank you to Cal alumni, Lauren Amery, for being on the water umpire and to the UCSB Sailors who helped on race committee and rotation boats.
After an absolutely beautiful day of sailing on Saturday with 10 races for both divisions in the bag, Sunday's forecast was unfortunately much lighter. Wind was from unusual northeasterly directions with very little pressure or consistency behind it. Sailors went on the water to wait for it to fill, but after 2 hours of waiting in hot conditions, they were sent in for on shore postponement. Unfortunately, the breeze never filled with enough time to get a race in for both divisions and eventually the sailors were told they could derig the boats. An unfortunate ending to an otherwise amazing weekend of sailing, great bonding between our ladies, and excellent competition. Go PCCSC Women! Congratulations to the five qualifying teams...Stanford, Cal, Santa Clara, UCSB, and UCLA!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
