The Mendums Pond Invite was held today at Tufts as our lake water level is still down due to dam repair. Sun was out and temps were mid 50's making for a very pleasant finish to the spring season. Although racing was initially delayed due to lack of wind it quickly filled in allowing for 16 teams to sail 6 races each in Tufts brand new beautiful boats. The breeze came from the East making the boathouse and windward mark spectator friendly. Winds ranged form 5-10 with a few higher gusts. 10 - 20 degrees shifts were managed all day by Reid Van Gorder, Tufts alumni who graciously ran all the races. Course 4's and 5's were de rigueur. One collision resulting in gelcoat damage and the sailor was DSQ'd. Maine Maritime and Brandeis were no shows and Brown still needs to complete their RP forms.
Special thanks to Chris Lund UNH assistant coach and alumni, team members Ryan Gershuny, River Innacconne and Sean Brodeur for giving up their Saturday to help make the Mendums Pond Invite run smoothly.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
