The wind filled in nicely in the afternoon from the south east at about 5-10 knots. All the competitors worked hard to pull off a full round robin getting off 28 races. We would like to thank all of our judges; Tom, Betsy, Hans, Geoff, Dennis and our PRO Claire.
After a long morning of no wind, we finally had a steady 5-10 knots come in from the south. We had to break the 5 way tie for first place with a tie breaking sail-off. This ended with Wisco taking first and leaving a three way tie for second. We broke this with a three way sail-off, which ended with Michigan in second, UWM in third and Minnesota in fourth. Thanks to all the competitors, judges and race committee that helped. We could not have had a such a competitive race with out you. Congratulations to the teams that will be moving onto nationals is San Diego.
