Sailors arrived at 9 am to an overcast, chilly morning with constant wind. Sailors attended a skippers meeting at 9:30 am. They were on the water by 10 am and the first race was started by 10:15 am. Two races were completed from both A and B fleet, and then a lunch break was taken from 12-1pm. Racing resumed by 1:15pm. The wind picked up to 9-11 knots in the afternoon providing for more eventful races including a few capsizes. Six more races were completed from both A and B fleet before sailing in for the day at 5pm.
Sailors arrived at 10 am to a rainy but heavy breeze day. Sailors rigged the boats and were on the water for first gun at 11 am. We completed the first set of races 9A-10A, and 9B-10B. The wind continued through race 11A-12A and 11B, however at the end of 11B heavy rain swept through the bay dropping the wind speed to a standstill. It was 2:15 at this point with no sign of the rain slowing or wind returning so 12B was abandoned and 12A was dropped from the regatta. The boats were taken in, derigged, and all the teams debriefed in a final meeting. In the end 11 races were scored and the regatta was finished.
