Saturday morning initially brought light winds that steadily increased to 8-10 knots in the afternoon. The race committee set a course in the turning basin adjacent to Newport Harbor Yacht Club, which provided spectators on the floating dock a good view of the action at the weather mark. More racing to follow on Sunday.
The wind filled in early so races were able to start promptly at 10:30am. 4-8 knots held for the day consistently from the NNW. Race Committee was able to complete 10 races per division. Congratulations to USC for taking the win. Zot Zot Zot!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
