One round robin was completed, except for the BC vs Tufts race due to a breakdown. All races sailed in North breeze ranging from 10-20 knots with hard, driving wintry mix, making visibility difficult.
A much different day on Sunday. After starting and abandoning a handful of races in an extremely fickle "northerly" breeze that we saw range from due West to due East, a light sea breeze filled in. We were able to complete the 2nd round robin sailing directly off the JFK Library pier in a very strong out going tide. The course location provided excellent viewing for the handful of spectators that withstood the cold temps to watch some great spring sailing.
Thank you to Drake Lyon and Jacob Martz (BC '18 and '17) for braving the elements, starting races, and recording finishes and to Harvard for loaning a whaler to act as the finish boat.
