This past weekend Salisbury University’s Sailing Club hosted their spring open Gull Gust Regatta. The event was hosted by Ocean Pines Yacht Club in Ocean Pines Maryland. Competing in the regatta was UMBC, Washington College and Salisbury and the sailing conditions were great. The weather was sunny and 70 degrees, 10-15 knot steady winds calming to 8 knots after lunch. All races were completed in one day due to bad forecasts for Sunday. Washington College took first place with 75 Points, UMBC took second with 85 and Salisbury came in third with 92 points. Overall a great weekend of sailing with some great teams and a lot of fun!
No Sailing occured today due to poor sailing conditions, all 12 races were completed on Saturday May 2nd.
