Competitors arrived eager to rig Coast Guard’s new fleet of eight J/70’s. Conditions were cold with scattered snow and rain throughout the day. A morning practice session was followed by 4 races in a steady NNW at 10-15kts. Courses were 35 minute W4’s.
The overnight wintry mix left the boats covered in a crunchy sheet of ice. Skies were clear and temps quickly rose into the 40’s. Courses were 30 minute W4’s. 4 races were sailed in a diminishing northerly wind and strong ebb current.
CGA would like to thank everyone for taking great care of the new boats. All teams showed plenty of improvement and racing became more competitive throughout the weekend.
Special Thanks to all of our 4/c cadets that toughed out the cold while keeping the courses set and races moving.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
