A beautiful day in Rhode Island with temps around 50 degrees and sunny. However, the wind really came on strong after just one A-division set, causing a postponement ashore until 3pm when racing was cancelled for the day. Winds were 14-16 knots out of the WNW for race 1A and quickly built to 18-25 knots for race 2A. A few boats capsized and a few DNF's were given. Courses were a W4 and a W5. Gusts were near 40 knots in the afternoon. Thanks to our judges Charlotte Lipschitz (Brown '10) and Margot Elmaleh (Brown '12), photgrapher Rob Migliaccio, and the Brown team for rescuing some capsized sailors.
Terrific conditions for day two of the Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy. Teams showed up early for a 9:45am first start and a chance for some good practice in the new fleet of Brown Z420s, which will be used at the 2015 Spring Nationals in Newport, RI. Temps in the 40's, a little sunshine, and a mainly west breeze ranging from 10-18 knots with some puffs in the low 20's. All courses were W3, W4, or W5 and the racing was shifty and tight. 6 total races in each division and one protest resulting in a DSQ for URI in B-division. A huge thanks to our judges Charlotte Lipschitz (Brown '10) and Margot Elmaleh (Brown '12), photographer Rob Migliaccio, and the Brown sailors for their help. Rob's terrific photos from the Dellenbaugh can be found on the NEISA Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NEIntercollegiateSailingAssociation?fref=ts
It came down to last beat of the last race in B-division between Brown and URI for first overall. Congrats to the Brown Bears on winning the 2015 Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
