Ten races were completed in the Marsh for both divisions. A division in FJs and B division 420s battled for three sets in 6-12 knots from the NNE and a weakening flood tide before taking a hearty lunch break. Greg Fisher and his band of Cougars ran a trapezoid course for set number one while W4s were used in the flood tide. The divisions swapped fleets of boats after 7 races. One breakdown occurred and a protest was disallowed by Harvard coach Michael O’Connor, University of South Florida coach Allison Jolly, and United States Naval Academy coach Brendan Healy.
The Cooper River dished out great conditions for fourteen teams this weekend. The 6-14 knot breeze from the NNE was sufficient to complete the rotation in a strong outgoing tide. One redress was granted for a breakdown and one protest was filed resulting in a disqualification. Thanks to the jury members Coach Healy and Coach Vavolotis, and to the team of Cougars for moving marks during their Spring Break. Congratulations to the Georgetown University Hoyas on the big win.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
