Overcast with a high in the mid 50s, and just enough wind for the first day of the Arrigan Memorial Regatta. 10 races were sailed in a shifty NW with an hour-long lunch break halfway through the day. One protest was filed and disallowed, and one breakdown was filed and granted.
A beautiful, clear day for sailing on the Potomac with a high in the low 70's. We completed 2 races in a very light NE wind that also welcomed oscillating 90 degree shifts. After a two hour lunch break/wind delay, racing was called off for the day at 2:00PM.
A big thank-you to all the current Georgetown sailors who ran the Race Committee and Mark-Set boats, and Nevin Snow ('16) for volunteering for the protest committee.
This regatta is named after Robert Paul Arrigan, a Georgetown sailor who was tragically killed in the summer of his freshman year at Georgetown in 1984.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
