Day 1 of the McIntyre Team Race was an interesting one. The day saw almost every direction of breeze as storms swirled around us. The sun stayed out though with no rain and some great races were sailed as we got chances of time with stable breeze. 24 races were sailed in the round robin and more is on tap for tomorrow.
A great job by PRO Clinton Hayes and the undergrads that ran races today in tough conditions. A big thank you to Bryan McDonald and his umpire team!
Sunday saw sunny skies and warm temps but no real stable breeze. As breeze filled in the RC did a good job of getting in what the could. The round robin was finished but that was all there was time for. The Stanford Coed Team won by going 8-0.
A big thank you to our RC and to our umpires: Bryan McDonald, John Christman, Viki Sodero, Mike Gross, Jared Hickman, Don Martin, Don Wienke.
Thank you to all the teams coming out to Stanford for the weekend and enjoying some team racing and great college sailing that Jeremy McIntyre would enjoy!
