Teams arrived in sunny Newport to a dying Northerly breeze and temperatures in the mid 50s. RC tried to get a race off at 10:12am but was forced to postpone as the bay went glassy. First race was started at 12:09pm in a light Southwest breeze after a bit of sunbathing on the grass of Fort Adams. 10 races were sailed as the breeze filled in to 10-15kts from the South. One Protest was filed resulting in a DSQ.
Racing started at 10:27 am. 6 races were sailed in a 12-15kt Southwest breeze to complete the rotation. Racing concluded at 1:00pm. No protests were filed. Congrats to Connecticut College for a commanding victory.
