8 Teams from the south region of SAISA met at Jacksonville University's dolphin green and were greeted with thunderstorms that lasted till almost 13:00. By 13:30 the sun was out and temperatures rose into the 70s, a solid 10-13 southwesterly had filled in and the race committee was able to get 4 races off in each division. Sailors battled strong currents as the breeze died down to 8-10 knots No protests were filed Special thanks to all the JU sailors who worked hard to make this event happen, and Tim Monahan whom did a fantastic job running the race committee. the Florida Yacht Club and the JU rowing team for lending race committee and crash boats.
