Robert P. Arrigan Memorial Regatta

Summary

Saturday, April 12:

Warm and sunny with highs in the low 80s but hardly any wind in the first day of the Arrigan Regatta. One race was sailed in a light NE. After an extended wind delay two more races were completed in a light south wind.

Sunday, April 13:

A beautiful day for sailing on the Potomac. We completed 10 races in a strong SSW wind that was 10-20mph with higher gusts. One protest was filed resulting in One DSQ.

Thanks to all the Georgetown sailors who ran the event.

This regatta is named after Robert Paul Arrigan, a Georgetown sailor who was tragically killed in the summer of his freshman year at Georgetown in 1984.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
