The conditions were beautiful for day one of the Reed Trophy. Ten races per division were sailed in a north-northwest breeze ranging from 5 to 15 knots. All courses were W-4s. One protest was filed and then withdrawn. Huge thanks to Cristen Schifino for judging on the water all day. Also thanks to out head offshore coach Jack Neades who came in to help with the protest.
The first warning on Sunday will be at 10am. Following racing there will be an awards presentation, when awards and gear from Dieball Sailing given to the top teams. The NEISA Awards Committee will also be presenting the All-NEISA Women's Team.
On Easter Sunday, sailors hit the water in a light easterly which failed to have enough punch to get any quality racing in. After a quick lunch break, a beautiful southeasterly filled allowing the race committee to finish the final seven races with the starting line only seconds away from the rotation dock. All courses were W4s. No protests were filed.
Congratulations to the Yale Bulldogs for winning the 2014 Reed Trophy! Yale along with Boston College, Dartmouth, University of Rhode Island, Coast Guard, Brown, Bowdoin, and MIT will advance to the College Sailing Women's National Championship at the US Naval Academy.
Thanks to Dieball Sailing for providing prizes to the top three teams!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
