The day began with winds from the NW blowing 17, During the rotation the winds increased to 24 steady with gusts to 30mph. There were multiple capsizes. PRO Brendan Hogan called the racing for the day as the winds increased all day long. Only four races were sailed. Lighter winds were called for on Sunday
The day began with blue skies and winds out of the west at 7. The winds clocked right all day with the final race sailing in winds from the SE at 10. Congratulations to U of Buffalo who won the regatta with their A team winning all their races. Thanks go to Toms River Yacht Club for the use of their facility. Thanks go to the OCC team for their on the water support and PRO Brendan Hogan for running excellent races in trying conditions over the weekend.
