A gorgeous SW breeze of 8-18 knots welcomed the fleet of 16 Fireflies for the first midweek event of 2014. Sailors raced in 5 consecutive races with no boat rotations and we were done by 615. The Harry Anderson Course was used for all races with a beat to windward, a broad reach, a beam reach back to the start pin, a run to leeward and, a beat back to the finishing line.
Maarten Eenkema van Dijk and Estelle Beguin schooled all the players with straight bullets. Consistently beating them to the windward mark but having difficulties fighting off Maarten and Estelle were Tori McGruer and Liz Sczerzemic. Many lessons learned about sliding your weight fore and aft to keep the bow from burying in a Firefly in puffy conditions. A healthy amount of swimming but water temps are now above 50F in the Charles.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
