Light rain and equally light breeze greeted sailors this morning. Teams waited for breeze to hopefully fill in before what the radar showed as potential heavy downpour moved our way. UMaine Orono was a no show, Bates and Middlebury were late drops. At 1pm after continuously checking breeze both online and with the anemometer we called it quits for the day. Teams are expected to report at 9:30 on Sunday with weather predictions which appear to be more favourable to us. Team are reminded to fill in their RP information through TechScore online.
The low pressure that sat over Mendums produced glass on the lake for the morning with wisps of breeze tantalizing everyone. We were finally able to get 3 A races off and it looked the 8 knot breeze would hold and build a bit but alas it wasn't to be so. With 2 races completed in B the magic hour struck and although we did get the requisite A races off with only 2 in B the regatta is not official.
Thanks to all the sailors especially Amherst who yesterday helped us move boats out of the boathouse and helped to step masts. Thanks to the bugs whose voracious appetites stayed away. Thanks too to Zac K. who was a gracious host to Amherst.
When you sit in your car with the heat on, playing tunes all day I suggest that in order to avoid having to find cables to jump a dead battery that you periodically start your car. Three teams had that misfortune this weekend.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
