The 2014 MCSA Women's Championship was sailed at the Michigan Sailing Club on Baseline Lake in Dexter, MI. Sailors faced cool temperatures and heavy winds all day Saturday to complete 8 races in each division. Minnesota led Wisconsin by 1 point at the end of the day.
Sailors only had to complete 2 races in each division to finish the regatta and again faced heavy winds. After several back and forth races, Wisconsin and Minnesota entered the last race tied for points. Wisconsin took the last race and the overall regatta win. Congratulation to Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa for qualifying for Women's Semifinals. Thanks to all the University of Michigan sailors who ran the regatta.
