MAISA Team Race Challenge

Sailors arrived to a becalmed Seneca Lake. After waiting most of the morning, 28 races were sailed in E to NE winds, at 4-9mph. All courses were a digital N, lasting 12-15 minutes. Special thanks to Chief Umpire Rob Overton and his team of judges; Larry Sill, Doc Sullivan, John Moulthrup, Bridget Nannig, Austin Kana, and Patrick Kana, for keeping the racing fair.

Four inches of snow greeted sailors this morning. Racing was postponed in the morning due to high winds and cold weather. At 1:30 the snow stopped, and the wind lighter and racing resumed. Two races were sailed before the wind built to 22-27mph and racing was again postponed. Conditions did not improve and racing was abandoned at 3pm. Thanks to all the HWS Sailors to braved the cold weather to run races.
