Pretty much ideal conditions for day 1 of the John T. Jackson Memorial Team Race.
The wind filled from the SE at about 7-10mph. Races started at 10am and continued until 3pm. 30 races were sailed before the wind shut off.
Races were run in the Washington Sailing Marina Lagoon. Coaches acted as umpires.
Report time tomorrow is 9am. Don't forget we lost an hour of sleep tonight!
Another nice day of sailing in the Washington Sailing Marina Lagoon. Racing began at 945 in a cold WNW wind. Shifty conditions led to many close races and some photo finishes.
The second round robin was completed around 145 and the final four finished about 245.
Thanks to all the coaches who helped umpire the regatta. And thanks to all the Georgetown Sailors for running the event.
