Saturday was a gorgeous day for racing. Wind started off very light from the west but picked up to about 12 knots by the end of the day. There were a couple of large gusts and shifts that sailors had to deal with and adjust for. An inner-outer loop trapezoid was run, with FJ's on the outer loop and Fireflies on the inner loop. 10 races were completed in divisions B and C, and 8 races completed in division A.
One race (Race 8A) was abandoned and re-sailed due to a course error made by the RC. 1 boat was given redress; 2 protests were heard and one was thrown out. One protest was made due to a procedural infraction by the RC and resulted in the sailor receiving a 1 for his race while all other finishes were unaffected.

Thank you to Diane Weidenacker, John Ingalls, and Fran Charles for being our judges today. Dock call is 9:30 tomorrow and A fleet will start in FJ's.
Sunday started out cold and light. Around 10:00, the wind filled in from the east and steadied around 10 kts. Conditions were pretty steady for the Charles with some shifts coming from the right. Race 9B was abandoned and re-raced at the beginning of the day. Then, 5 races were sailed in A division and 3 races were sailed in B and C division. 13 races in total were completed in all divisions to finish off the regatta.
