The 2014 George Morris Trophy started late with a 10:15AM report time and 9 teams. We had a shifty N-NW at about 8-12 knots. We completed 8 races in combined division racing of the W4, W5 and W6 variety. One breakdown was filed that was denied. The dramatic conclusion of the George Morris Trophy starts tomorrow at 9:30AM. Thanks to Simon and the rest of the BUDS for running the racing.
Congrats to Tufts University and Viktor Wettergren '14, Alexander Tong '17, Duncan Swain '15 & Eliza White '14 for winning the 10th Annual George Morris Trophy. Day 2's racing featured a temperamental southeasterly in the Upper Charles River Basin. Eight modified triangles were contested with an aggressive fleet pushing several general recalls. RC work was managed by Simon Bertucci, Joe Benoit and the Brothers Martin with support from ICSA Rep Diana Weidenbacker. Thanks to Washington College and Columbia for traveling from out of district to race at Boston University.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
