Sailors arrived at 9:00AM to a sunny but cool day and good conditions. We started our first race at 10:15AM with a westerly wind of about 8 knots. Before race 4A there was a shift to a northeast wind which forced us to change the course, but for the rest of the day the wind generally held position and vacillated from anywhere between 5 to 13 knots. We sailed windward-leeward courses either once or twice around for the whole day with our last race finishing at around 5:30. There was only one capsize in the 4th race of B fleet, but the boat was righted quickly and the sailors were able to finish the race. Aside from that, all races were completed smoothly and quickly. We completed a total of 24 races in six rotations of A and B fleet. Due to the productive day, we were able to finish the regatta and send teams home for the holiday on Sunday. Congratulations to University of Maryland for winning the regatta and sincerest thanks to the attending teams, North East Yacht Club, and all of the University of Delaware's Sailing team for helping us put on a great event!
All races were completed on Saturday.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
