NEISA sailors met at the Waterfront Center in Newport, RI at 9:30 AM and a competitor's meeting was held at 9:50. First race started at 10:30 in a 10 knot northerly. Breeze shifted right and faded throughout the morning. The northerly finally died altogether and the racing was called at 2pm. No breakdowns or protests were reported. Williams College was a no show!
For Sunday's racing, B-division started the day off with sunny skies and a 10:04 AM start. The northerly breeze was building throughout the day from 5 to 17 knots. A total of 9 races were completed in each division and the racing was called at 3:00 PM. One breakdown was filed and given to BU for a tiller extension that snapped in half. One protest was filed and heard, which resulted in a DSQ for Mass Maritime. Thank you to all the NEISA sailors who came out on this cold weekend in Newport to sail on Narragansett Bay. We hope to see some of you next weekend for the Southern Series 1 @ SRU! Also a big thanks goes out to our Salve alumna, Sarah Muzyka '12, for helping out with the land operations and Nicole Ioannilli '13 for doing scoring. Congrats to the Connecticut College Camels for winning the 2013 Veitor Trophy!
Happy St. Patricks Day!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
