A fading NW-W breeze at 5-10 kts made for tricky conditions on the last midweek regatta of the spring season on the Charles River. The Collegiate Firefly dinghies were very tactical in the tight congestion of a 16 boat fleet. Race management was expertly handled by MIT Coach Matt Lindblad and everyone enjoyed the rapid fire format with no rotations.
Congrats to Maggie Bacon '14 and Jamie Maffeo '15 who edged out fellow Jumbos in the last race to win the regatta on a tie-breaker over Amanda Sommi '16 and Casey Gowrie '16.
