Wild day on the St. Mary's River in beautiful weather with temps into the 70's and funky winds. Day started with a short delay while the Southerly beat out the dying northerly. Unfortunately, the northerly came back for another gasp causing race 2 B to be abandoned when people were tacking to the leeward mark. Mike Kuschner did battle all day as PRO to keep the courses as square as possible. The RC experimented with a new dog leg on the W-4 to a reaching finish and it was met with mixed reviews. 7A and 6 B were completed with the final few races taking place around Church Pt. Clarke McKinney, Alex Bishop and Jeremy Wilmot hear three protests.
