The 20 teams that descended on Newport from as far as Oregon were met by a cold drizzle and winds out of the ENE at 4-8 knots. Races began at10:15. Courses sailed were mostly W4’s with a windward offset and leeward gate. A total of eight races were sailed in each division. The occasional frozen rain was not enough to dissuade a couple of sailors from taking a quick swim in the morning. UConn would like to thank Salve Regina and Coach John Ingalls for allowing us to run this event.
Note: The UMass team in attendance was in fact UMass Dartmoth, we hopeyou enjoyed your first event.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
