Teams showed up on Saturday to a very light NE breeze on Cayuga Lake. The breeze died off and teams had to wait on shore until about 10:30 to get going. A few starts were attempted but called with the breeze having a hard time to settle in. Eventually it filled in from the East around 4-6 mph, and 2 A races were completed. During the rotation the breeze shut off once again and B division sat on the water for about 25 minutes until the Northerly came back in nicely around 8-10mph. This breeze held for the remainder of the day and in total 6A and 6B races were completed. We will hope for a more consistent beginning to the day tomorrow to see which 3 teams will advance to the America Trophy hosted by Hobart and William Smith Colleges in two weeks. RPI was a No Show.
Thank you to Alex Gatto, Chris Spencer, Zander, Liem, and Sonia Guior for doing a great job on the water running races in the tricky conditions. Also thank you to Juliet Levine and Greg Reppucci for handling the on shore duties.
When teams arrived on Sunday there was no breeze at all and overcast skies. We waited on shore until 10:30 when we headed out to race in a light SW breeze, enough for 2 A races to be sailed. B Division went out to race and was only able to complete 1 race in the SW winds until they died and a long wind delay followed for about an hour. The final B race was sailed in a short lived SW breeze. An attempt at a 1 and 1 set ran out of wind and time and racing was called for the event. Congratulations to Cornell, Fordham, and Columbia for advancing to the America trophy in two weeks.
Thank you to the RC, Collin Clark, Colin Keil, Alden Sonnenfeldt, Della Bradt, and Greg Reppucci for running the races in the difficult rainy conditions. Also thank you to Erin Ahlers for handling the on shore duties.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
