St. Patty's Day welcomed sailors with glass upon their arrivals, but a light easterly filled in. The wind varied from as far left as NE and as far right as SSE, ranging from 0-5, but usually at around 3 knots. 8 races were sailed, with A sailing their first 6 races in the brand new Fireflies, B in FJs. Thanks to Wally Corwin who helped with some minor maintenance issues, Fran Charles for running 16 races, and Chloé Lepert for entering scores.
Report time is 9:30 tomorrow, with 5 races left to complete the round robin.
5 races in each division were completed in a gorgeous 8-12 knot westerly and temps in the upper 60's. Thanks to MIT Sailing Master Fran Charles, dockmaster Wally Corwin, and MIT sailing team members Bruno Faviero and Brian Belding for scoring help. Firefly builder Paul Zimmerman was also proudly watching the sailors enjoying the fireflies.
Congratulations to Roger Williams for the impressive comeback and overall win.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
