A wild day on the Thames today with an Easterly breeze that built from 6-12 in the morning to 15-25 in the afternoon. Ten races in A-Division and eight in B-Division were completed before racing was called for the day. All courses were W-4. Thanks to Liz Powers (Harvard '10) and Kate Hagemann (Yale '09) for judging on the water. There were no protests and no yellow flags. Along with Liz and Kate, Danny Rabin (Brown) and Matt Lindblad (MIT) also assisted with rescues/damage control. They will all receive their Coast Guard rescue boat qualification at tomorrow's awards ceremony. ISCA Rep John Storck III (Dartmouth) was a huge help, especially making key suggestions when my mind was clearly elsewhere. The all freshman/sophomore crew of Coast Guard Bears did a great job with race committee, getting in eighteen quality races in tough conditions.
Another fun day of racing on the Thames with a Southwesterly breeze that ranged from 8-20. Eight A-Division and ten B-Division races were sailed. All courses were W-4. One request for redress was filed and disallowed. No other protests were filed. Thanks again to Liz and Kate for helping with judging and rescues. They counted 25 capsizes today, which was probably fewer than yesterday! Also thanks again to John for helping as the rep. The undergrad team of Parker Simon (’14), Ellen Kintz (’13), Max Caballero (’13), Pipp Driscoll (’13), Katie Anderson (’14), Marjorie Balcorta (’14), Meredith Anderson (’14), Rebecca O’Connor (’13), Cyrus Unvala (’13) and Matt Zangle (’11) did an excellent job all weekend helping with race committee and regatta management.
Congrats to the Boston College Eagles for taking home the 2011 Emily Wick/Sloop Shrew!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
