It was one of those beautiful Dorchester Bay days you always dream about. 50 degrees, overcast, with wind blowing from the East at 12-15 knots upon arrival and tide streaming out during the morning.
We sailed combined division for a total of four races. First race sailed was a windward-leeward, twice around. As the wind increased to 15-18 knots by the second race we switched to triangle, windward-leeward courses. By around 12:15pm during the fourth race we saw a steady 20 knots and observed a few puffs as high as 25. After several capsizes on the downwind leg it was time to call it a day.
Close racing - the BC Eagles are currently leading by 1 point over the Roger Williams Hawks. Tomorrow's forecast calls for similar conditions to today's with possibility of rain.
Another perfect day on Dorchester Bay, with winds from 12-18 from the WSW, and spots of sun. We completed 10 Windward Leeward twice arounds, with an offset mark and a gate.
Extremely tight racing today, with the BC Eagles winning a tiebreaker with the Roger Williams Hawks for the win.
Thanks to BC undergrads Caroline Quincy '12, Chris Morrison '14, and Ryan Morrison '14 for helping with RC, and to BC grad Christian Manchester '10 for running the races.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
