Classic late spring conditions on Tampa Bay for the SAISA Women's Championships, hosted by USF.
A solid 15 knot easterly wind overnight from adjacent high pressure resulted in some nice waves for the early morning races. Winds stayed in the 8-12 range, slowly veering to SSE by noon, but remained through races 6A and 6B. Races 7A and 7B were finished just as the breeze completely collapsed, however.
A brief postpone to the pool to escape the 89 deg temperature, and then racing was called, as the afternoon forecast was for a light westerly seabreeze, arriving very late.
Congratulations to College of Charleston who qualify for the ICSA Sperry Top Sider Women's Nationals, and to USF and Eckerd who qualify for the semi-finals. Thank you to Clemson and Miami for their attendance as well.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
