Seventeen teams arrived to a 7-9 knot northeasterly breeze. To expedite rotations, racing was held inside Bayboro Harbor resulting in very flat water and shifty conditions, both in velocity and direction.
Three A races were run, followed by three B races. As race 4A began, the wind shifted to the east and dropped precipitously, to 4 knots. At the finish, the wind shifted even further to ESE and threatened to die altogether. The decision was made to sail race 4B, ensuring matched races. Following that, at 1:45pm racing was halted for the day.
All races were W4, with the windier races at 12 minutes in length and the lighter races at 19 minutes. No protests were filed.
Congratulations to JU with the victory, followed closely by Miami, showcasing two freshmen drivers.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
