Despite forecasters calling for afternoon squalls of up to 30 knots, racing conditions in Smith Cove were downright hospitable with winds ranging from the low to mid teens out of the SE.
Anticipating the possibility of no wind on Sunday, the RC pushed for a longer day of racing on Saturday and completed 8 races in the combined division fleet.
No races were able to be held on Sunday due to an unstable breeze below 4 knots.
Thank you to volunteer Peter White for holding down the fort on the RC boat and to all the MMA sailors and staff that supported racing at the PBO and Harman Cup this weekend.
