Saturday in the creek was a slow burn. A light 6 knot easterly showed promising at the time of the first warning. However, by the time the fleet of the first race had rounded the gate, that breeze was long gone. The good news was the new breeze came in fresh and quick from the south. The bad news was that it was far from steady. Slowly clocking west, two steps forward, one step back made for some skewed legs and some short races. The breeze clicked up to 8-10 knots from the west before moving back SW for the final race. Thanks to Augie Dale for moving marks, Reade Decker for keeping the course square, Luke Woodworth for guiding tours, Callie Hammond for taking scores, Jesse Andrews for speaking for the people and the entirety of the PCC for keeping vibes light and saying "thank you" upon finishing.
Sunday was much like Saturday, only when the breeze finally settled down, it pumped in at 15-20 knots. Several boats left racing early to find safe harbor. Several sailors turned swimmers in the mean time. Thanks to all who helped out!
