Harry Anderson Trophy

Summary

Saturday, September 6:

First A-Div race was sailed in 420E's which began in a light southerly with tons of chop. B-Div in FJ's started soon after but the wind lightened and went left. That race was abandoned. Subsequent races were sailed in a beautiful southerly starting at 6 knots increasing to 12 knots before the races were called for the day due to severe thunderstorms. All courses were W4's. First warning signal will be at 10:15am on Sunday. Divisions will switch fleets tomorrow.

Sunday, September 7:

Day two brought rainy conditions to the race area. We began with a wind delay ashore after an unsuccessful attempt to start racing on time. As the rain lifted around noon, a second attempt was made, and racing was able to get underway with light northerly winds hovering around 5 knots. The breeze created flat water and shifty conditions, ideal for running a handful of W4 courses. Both A and B divisions completed three more races, bringing the regatta total to six.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
