After waiting for seabreeze to fill in, Day 1 of the Chesapeake Invitational got underway around 11AM. 8 FJ races were completed in the Severn River in a southeasterly ranging from 6-12 kts. 6 races are scheduled for tomorrow and the regatta will switch into 420s.
We arrived Sunday morning to very light wind. A light southeasterly filled, and 1 race was completed in the river. RC then moved out to Triton Light with a northeasterly in hopes of running 1 last race before the 3PM cutoff. 4 knots held and we were able to complete a 10th race to close the event. Thank you to all of our competitors for fair sailing, and thank you to our fantastic PRO Dillon and his team of Mids for completing as many races as possible!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
